Happy St Patty's Day

Since green is my favorite color, it's only fitting that I like St Patty's Day cards! I am Irish, by the way, so even more fitting:) Here is a card I made with the Irish Sparkle, Sparkle N Soft. I stamped with Versamark on Gable Green cardstock and embossed with Stickum Powder, and then sprinkled the Irish Sparkle on. I worked with only one shamrock at a time because the Stickum Powder needs to be hot to hold the Sparkle n Soft. The diaper bag pouch was a technique over on Splitcoast. I just filled it with some green baubles. The shamrock in the front is an Acrylic Inchie on Silver Mirror cardstock.

To can see the full directions to the card here.

Have a great weekend!

Apple Red Flower Medallion

I have been thinking of this card for quite a while now and I got my new Nestibilities and this die was perfect for the layout I had in mine. I wanted to emboss this Flower Medallion from Sparkle N Sprinkle in Apple Red embossing powder on this light blue cardstock that I had in my left over stash. I then cut it out with the Nestibilitie and cut the bottom part off and layered it on a red sparkle cardstock and embossed the sentiment with Native American embossing powder. I added three oblong rhinestones on the bottom to bling it up! I thought of my mom with this verse, so it became a card for her:) My mom came home from the hospital this week after having a total hip replacement. She has been in so much pain, and has been through so much with the cancer and chemo. After this last surgery she has been sooooo happy because all the pain from the hip is gone! It just dissappeared! It's amazing....she's up walking for the first time in 6 months! She called me the other night sooooo HAPPY that she was home and not hurting and I thought this card just fit perfectly.
So thanks for lookings, and

CHA Innvoation Products

I don't think I ever shared this creation with you. I made the ensemble for the Innovative Products at CHA. I use our new Sparkle N Soft in several different projects to show it's soft sparkly beauty! I made the scrapbook page using several different methods, super adhesive sheets, & chipboard. For the card on the right I used the Brushable Glue and the one on the left was Sticker Paper. I think the topiary is my favorite of all the projects. I used a Styrofoam ball and punched the flowers out of sticker paper using the 5 petal punch from Stampin Up, then used the rhinestones to stick them to the ball. The leaves are just the same flower punch that I cut one petal off for a leave and glued them on. For the greenery on the bottom of the topiary I used Flower Soft.

Hope you enjoy,
Thanks for looking,

Jill

Resist Background

Happy Saturday Stampers, I'm going to be up at Stampfest in Clearwater today, so if you get a chance stop by and see me:) I'll be at the Sparkle N Sprinkle booth, playing with the Sparkle's.

Remember this card that I made a while back using the Versamark resist background, I actually put it on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog here? Well, my friend, Mary, really liked the technique and tried it. She sent me a picture of her card, so I wanted to share it with all of you! I think she did a wonderful job, and her card is beautiful! If you want to leave her a comment here I'm sure she would love to hear from you. I love hearing from my reads and seeing that they like what I'm posting. So if you want to share with me, please do:)

Happy Birthday Traci

My sister's birthday isn't until Tuesday, but me, my sister, Lexy and Chance went up today to celebrate. I stopped by the store to get a cake and they had these adorable cakes there was the bee and a ladybug. Well I obviously decided on the bee one, then had to come home and make a new card to match the cake! I used the Sun Dazzle Sparkle N Soft on the daffidils, so they are soft and sparkly! The stamp set is from SU.
We had a nice visit and went for a walk down to the corner store.

Garden Fairies

I think this is my favorite set of the 3 new fairy sets.
This is the Garden Fairy Set, and there are so many images in this set you can do so much. I stamped with Black Memento and colored with all my pretty new Copic Markers! I then used the Brushable Glue and Green Iris glitter for accents.
I used this sketch from Taylored Expressions and really like the look of cutting out the circle on the side.
Thanks for looking and happy stamping:)

Cherish each Day

I love these new Garden Girls from Sparkle N Sprinkle...we have some great new artists. There are 2 new sets that are only going to be available from your local stamp store...so go ask for the Garden Girls and have them stock them so you can buy them...The girls name is Dani and she is playing with nature. This card was very simple and used 3 stamps. The Swirls and Curls for the background, the sentiment and of course Dani sitting in the flower reading. I used a Nestibilitie Oval template and first layed it with the open oval in the center of the card and sponged with Pearlescent Lime from Brilliance, then put the solid oval over the center and stamp the swirls around it. Then I stamped the verse and Dani with Versamark and embossed with Teddy Brown EP. I layered it on a dark brown layer, the base of the card is of course green. I'll be sharing more cards made with this set, I've had alot of fun with it:)

Also check out the website for more new great stamp sets that came out...there are 5 in all.

It's been a While!

Hi Friends,
It has been a while since I have shared. I don't really have any other pictures to share with you, I've been out of that mood lately, but hope that will change. It was sooooo cold here this weekend we just stayed home all day Saturday and didn't step foot outside, so guess what I did all day....yeah, I spent the entire day stamping!! I am having a class next week and we are doing a swap and this is what I came up with. The flamingo stamp is from my old stash and I love it, but didn't really want to color a bunch for the swap so I used the heart Nestibilities to make the image pop...it's on dimensionals. I was also wanting to do another size card, so I grabbed a regular envelope for mailing the bills and measured it and made the card 3 1/2 x 6 3/4. The hearts are from an old SU Hostess Set, the definition is from Define Your Life from SU, and on the inside I got this anniversary stamp a while back and hadn't used it yet and thought this would be the perfect opportunity.

Life is Beautiful

Hi Stampers,
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We had two gatherings at our house. This is a picture of the cousins on Christmas Eve, but Ashley is missing, she had other plans. But I was thankful we got these 4 together. We had a delicious prime rib dinner.

Then on Christmas day Mandy's boyfriend and brother came down to join us. I made a seafood a gratin and it was so yummy. I think everyone got what they wanted and then some....I feel so blessed:)

Now on with the stamping:) I made this card with the new stampset Solid Butterfly over at Sparkle N Sprinkle. I embossed 3 of the butterflies with Amythest Spray, and then the 4th one is embossed with Peacock. Then I used a craft knife and cut out the wings of the butterfly and folded them up and layered it on a green mirror cardstock. The sentiment is also embossed with the Amythest Spray, and the brads are embossed with the Peacock. I love the look of the mirror under the wings.

Happy Stamping,
Jill

Last week I picked up my nephew from school and we spent the afternoon together. We went for a nature walk at one of my favorite parks and then went hom and made some a giant gingerbread cookie. We really enjoyed spending time together.
