Life is Beautiful

Hi Stampers,
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We had two gatherings at our house. This is a picture of the cousins on Christmas Eve, but Ashley is missing, she had other plans. But I was thankful we got these 4 together. We had a delicious prime rib dinner.

Then on Christmas day Mandy's boyfriend and brother came down to join us. I made a seafood a gratin and it was so yummy. I think everyone got what they wanted and then some....I feel so blessed:)

Now on with the stamping:) I made this card with the new stampset Solid Butterfly over at Sparkle N Sprinkle. I embossed 3 of the butterflies with Amythest Spray, and then the 4th one is embossed with Peacock. Then I used a craft knife and cut out the wings of the butterfly and folded them up and layered it on a green mirror cardstock. The sentiment is also embossed with the Amythest Spray, and the brads are embossed with the Peacock. I love the look of the mirror under the wings.

Happy Stamping,
Jill

Magic Max & Golden Gingerbread Boy

Last week I picked up my nephew from school and we spent the afternoon together. We went for a nature walk at one of my favorite parks and then went hom and made some a giant gingerbread cookie. We really enjoyed spending time together.
Here is the Video Kit Club for December....if you are interested you can check out here for more information.

Thanks for stopping by and

Have you seen his blog lately....he's been doing tutorials on tags and I just love them! So last night I made my own. I used his techniques for the whole thing...go check them out here. But only it's way to nice to put on a present then give it away!! lol I know alot of you feel the same way too!

Lexy was in a play "The Christmas Carol" at school last week and this is the picture of her as Elizabeth, and don't they make such a cute couple! They did a real good job.

New Rubbah and Grand Cayman

Boy, it's been awhile since I updated. I've been so busy with my mom, she's getting ready to have hip replacement surgery. And then we went on a cruise for a week. So I haven't had alot of time to stamp. I need to!!! I'm having withdrawl:) lol Anyway, here is some new rubber from Sparkle N Sprinkle, it's called Solid Butterfly. I used the sketch challenge from Splitcoast, and embossed the butterfly with Electric Blue, and the verse with Candy Apple both from Sparkle N sprinkle. I think this set has alot of possibilities with different techniques, so keep watching.

Here are some of the pictures from our cruise. We stopped at Grand Cayman and went on a snorkling excursion. The water is beyond beautiful! This is a queen conch and is the most pretty soft pink on the inside.

Jim likes to go to the bottom and look up a make circles. This one floated right up to Mandy.

Then the last photo is a shot from the top of the boat...just breathe taking to say the least.

Thanks for stopping by:)
Jill
