Cherish each Day

I love these new Garden Girls from Sparkle N Sprinkle...we have some great new artists. There are 2 new sets that are only going to be available from your local stamp store...so go ask for the Garden Girls and have them stock them so you can buy them...The girls name is Dani and she is playing with nature. This card was very simple and used 3 stamps. The Swirls and Curls for the background, the sentiment and of course Dani sitting in the flower reading. I used a Nestibilitie Oval template and first layed it with the open oval in the center of the card and sponged with Pearlescent Lime from Brilliance, then put the solid oval over the center and stamp the swirls around it. Then I stamped the verse and Dani with Versamark and embossed with Teddy Brown EP. I layered it on a dark brown layer, the base of the card is of course green. I'll be sharing more cards made with this set, I've had alot of fun with it:)

Also check out the website for more new great stamp sets that came out...there are 5 in all.

It's been a While!

Hi Friends,
It has been a while since I have shared. I don't really have any other pictures to share with you, I've been out of that mood lately, but hope that will change. It was sooooo cold here this weekend we just stayed home all day Saturday and didn't step foot outside, so guess what I did all day....yeah, I spent the entire day stamping!! I am having a class next week and we are doing a swap and this is what I came up with. The flamingo stamp is from my old stash and I love it, but didn't really want to color a bunch for the swap so I used the heart Nestibilities to make the image pop...it's on dimensionals. I was also wanting to do another size card, so I grabbed a regular envelope for mailing the bills and measured it and made the card 3 1/2 x 6 3/4. The hearts are from an old SU Hostess Set, the definition is from Define Your Life from SU, and on the inside I got this anniversary stamp a while back and hadn't used it yet and thought this would be the perfect opportunity.

Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Stamping,
Jill
